The course is built to be a championship course and all of Bro-Bålsta´s holes will challenge even the best golfers - but at the same time, like many good courses, it can be rather generous and forgiving to the average player.
To score well on Bro-Bålsta you need to be able to master the chip-&-run technique. Also practice your long-putting because the greens are large, quick and undulated!.
The course is also home turf to the world’s best female player - Annika Sörenstam and her sister Lotta Sörenstam - both players on the US LPGA. Bro-Bålsta is a course which lives up to the reputation and demands of its most famous patrons!
The Scandinavian TPC hosted by Annika (a part of the Ladies European Tour) took place at Bro-Bålsta GC during the year of 2006.
Bro-Bålsta GC was voted as, "Golf Club of the Year 2008".
