Örebro Golf Club is a classcal park- and forest course with heritage and tradition. Ranked among the very finest courses in sweden within its catagory, it has been home to several championship tournaments. New greens were constructedin 207 and several bunkers replaced by neatly trimmed declines allowing players to navigate around the greens in multible ways, making it easier for the intermediate player yet more challenging for the advanced golfer.
The high class facilities include an inviting club house and an excellent restaurant; the venue regularly hosts conferences and large dinner parties. A golf hotel & spa are currently under construction and comprise of a new reception, -changing facilities and pro shop which were inaugureted in early 2009.

The course is ranked as a mid-difficult course with a rather undulated front 9 and a more flat and forgiving back 9.
Another challenge is the second hole: A 500 meter challenging par 5 with a magnificent view from the tee. The hole plays downwards via tree plateaus to a green guarded by two bunkers.
