When playing a round of golf on Kronholmen you enter classical soil. Here people have been playing golf since 1958 and the wings of history can be heard all around the course. Beneath the fairways, in the water, among the grass and in the rough; you feel the presence of old historical Gotland.
A Unesco world heritage site - Visby is an extremely beautiful and popular destination during the summer months which makes tee-times at Kronholmen difficult to obtain.
A combination of seaside and parkland course, Kronholmen is a demanding challenge with many hazards - among them the strong winds blowing in from the Baltic sea. Nevertheless it is a fair course kept in immaculate condition with spectacular views from almost every hole.
