Brevikens Golf Club is a place for relaxation and a full enjoyment for the game of golf in an inspiring environment. It’s easy to enjoy the facilities with the restaurant, hotel, practise area and golf course, which all meet absolute high-class standards.
The course is placed on a bed of sand which makes the quality of the grass better and enables the course to be open longer in the after season. The small and tactically challenging greens are very characteristic for Breviken Golf Club. If you miss the greens you could end up in either a big variety of bunkers, a water hazard or in a demanding undulation. The Club is able to set the course for demanding challenges in length to meet the standards expected to be a host for international tournaments.
Breviken Golf Club was already on its first year famous for its high quality on the greens. The greens are shaped using the latest technology, which makes it possible to cut the grass low to enable maximum speed.
The course is set to 5775m from the yellow teebox. A length which is optimal for the average golfer. (i.e Jack Nicklaus designs his courses to be around 5800m for the average golfer.)
