Founded in 1902 Göteborgs Golf Club is the oldest in Sweden. Since 1904 the Hovås area has been its home and its par 70, rather short combined parkland- and forest course calls for accuracy.
In spite of being a relatively short course even advanced players will attest to its challenges and low scoring is uncommon. To treat the course with the respect it deserves is generally a sensible approach!
When not focusing on your swing the beautiful surroundings, particularly the views from the tee’s of holes 6 and 7, will undoubtedly catch your attention and contribute to the overall ambiance of this beautifully situated golf course.

From Gothenburg (north):
Drive road 158 towards Särö. Take exit Hovåsmotet and follow signs to the course, adress Golfbanevägen 17, HOVÅS.
From Kungsbacka (south):
Drive road 158 to Brottkärrsmotet, take exit Hovås. Follow Billdalsvägen, turn right at Brottkärrsvägen, turn right to Klåvavägen. Drive this road to Hovåsmotet, and follow signs to the Golf club.
