Your Swedish golf experience would not be complete without a visit to Bokskogens Golf Club, one of the finest in the country and chosen venue for The European Boys Team Championship 2006.
Venue for the 2003 Junior Solheim Cup, Bokskogen has hosted many amateur and professional tournaments including SEO and PLM Open which were the forerunners of what we know today as Scandinavian Masters. The Old Course has indeed proved a challenge for many well known European and US Tour players!
Bokskogen, which has two testing courses each offering a different environment, is only a twenty minute drive from Malmö city centre and a fifteen minute drive from the local airport (Malmö/Sturup).
The Old Course with its generous fairways, water hazards and large immaculate putting surfaces, challenges club players and professionals alike. Some of the par fours offer a magnificent test of length and strategy while the shorts, especially the second, test both nerve and skill.
The shorter New Course may not be as challenging as the Old Course but offers a different test. The slightly narrower fairways and smaller greens put focus on the accuracy of the player´s short game.
