Vasatorp GC became well known as an international championship venue already in the late seventies when the Club hosted Scandinavian Enterprise Open for three consecutive years on the European Tour. The winners of these tornaments were the world famous, and the leading players of their time, Greg Norman, Steve Ballesteros and Sandy Lyle.
In 2002 Vasatorp GC hosted the Compaq Open on the ladies European Tour with many great American and European players in the field. Sweden´s Annika Sorenstam ended with a great victory in front of record breaking galleries and glorious weather.
In June 2008 Vasatorp GC offers a brand new 18 hole course most probably to become one of the best courses in Scandinavia. There will de 54 holes of various difficulties and architecture on the premises. You can enjoy your game of golf, without long queues and to a reasonable greenfee, on one of Sweden´s absolutely best golfing facilities.
